Farm Credit Welcomes Phillips as Business Service Specialist

Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative that serves Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, announced that Andrew Phillips has joined the Association as a business service specialist in the Lexington branch.

Phillips is a native of Augusta County and still resides in his hometown of Greenville. He is currently completing his Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree at Blue Ridge Community College, as part of the college transfer program.

Prior to joining Farm Credit, Phillips served as an accounting associate with Augusta Cooperative Farm Bureau and as an administrative assistant at Washington and Lee University. His familiarity with the community will be an asset in his new role. Regarding his new position, Phillips shared, “I am excited to play a small but useful role in helping our borrowers turn their dreams into a reality.”

Regional Sales and Lending Manager, Vinson Snuffer, said, “We are glad to have Andrew join our branch team in Lexington. He brings positivity, enthusiasm and a knowledge of the area to the role, and I am confident he will serve our customer-owners well.”

In his spare time, Phillips enjoys outdoor activities, including kayaking, swimming and reading a book on his porch.
